Bangladesh graduates from LDC status in November 2026. The preferential duty access that carried the industry for two decades starts to close, and the margin it protected has to be found somewhere else.
The buyer will not pay more, and the worker should not be paid less. What is left is the waste between departments: the retyped order, the fabric booked before the money, the shipment that missed the LC date by two days.
